Joshua Set To Fight Tyson On Foreign Soil In 2021

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury could take place on foreign soil, explained promoter Eddie Hearn who said "we need a full capacity in the UK" to have any hope of the proposed mega-fight staying in the champions’ home country.

IBF, WBA and WBO title holder Joshua and WBC champion Fury have never been closer to agreeing a historic fight that would crown the heavyweight division's undisputed champion.

The location is yet to be discussed, however, and keeping the British heavyweights in the UK will be difficult, Hearn explained.

"Our plan, after speaking to [Fury's US-based promoter] Bob Arum, is to get the deal in place then go out to the relevant sites.

"Obviously we all would like this fight to take place in the UK but you've seen London go into Tier 3 now again.

"We had a crowd on Saturday [for Joshua's win over Kubrat Pulev] but that has been taken away for the time being. There are a lot of unknowns in that respect.

"Both fighters will have to take a significant reduction in purse for this fight to take place in the UK, unfortunately. Probably half and, without a crowd, maybe 80 percent.

"Really, to give us any chance, we need a full capacity in the UK.

"We want to make sure this fight goes ahead for both fighters. Both camps have a responsibility to maximise the revenue for their biggest fight - this is the pinnacle of their careers, the biggest moment, nothing will ever beat it.

"At the same time, we all recognise this is two Brits fighting for the undisputed championship of the world. If there is a way to do it in the UK? Fantastic."

Joshua fought in New York and Saudi Arabia in 2019 while Fury's past four fights have been in Los Angeles and Las Vegas - he also beat Wladimir Klitschko in Germany in 2015.

But the early negotiations to pit Joshua against Fury have been "positive" and a fight is pencilled in for May 2021 with a rematch in November, and only a "few small issues" are still to be worked out, Hearn said.

Potential hurdles may come in the form of Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder.

Usyk is the WBO mandatory challenger and is chasing his shot at Joshua's belt, while Wilder has entered a mediation process over a disputed third clash with Fury.

"Of course there are many countries around the world that want to stage this fight," Hearn continued.

"It's not only the biggest fight in boxing, it's one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

"We will talk to everyone, present it to the fighters and their teams who will have to agree, then we move forward.

"Certainly one of the two [fights pitting Joshua against Fury] should take place in the UK.

"But is that possible in May? And where could we stage an event of this magnitude during that period?"

Todd DuBoef, president of Top Rank who promote Fury in the US, has previously explained to Insight Sports why the undisputed heavyweight title super-fight could be lured stateside.

"I think that the success of the big events, the biggest events in the history of combat sports, have originated from America," DuBoef said earlier this year.

"I keep going back to that. I think the impact and the success of a PPV being distributed from the United States to the late hours, or early hours let's call it in the UK - we've seen that be very successful and the fans are connected and will stay up.

"My heart of hearts tells me that would be the ideal place, but obviously we would be open to any site and any prospective dynamic that would be different.

"We'd have to weigh all the different circumstances and if there were outside locations, like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Asia, whatever, we would obviously weigh those too."

In January 2020 Insight Sports reported that Joshua had been offered a "huge site fee" to face Fury in Saudi Arabia.

AKOLU: The Rock with a Face Cap

Akolu Rock is situated at Akara Area, Ibarapa East Local Government, Eruwa, in Oyo State, Nigeria. This Rock has been in existence for years and can't be trace back by anyone. From history, Akolu Rock was said to be human and a veteran warrior before he turned to Rock base on the supernatural powers that he possessed.

According to Baba Ogunsanya Olawale, One of the Elders of  Eruwa town who lives at Alági, Ebenezer, Eruwa said, "Akolu Rock served as a refuge for the people of the town whenever war arises against them because it will protect them till the war passes by." So, that's why the hill is referred to as _"Safe Heaven"._

He said, the sacrifice to this  Rock usually been performed by it worshippers annually with killing of A Black Ram that would be prepared on the mountain. This sacrifice is to avoid calamities but to have peace in the Town.

Although, there are other Mountains in Eruwa town such as _Apánpá, Wéèwéè, Òkélé, Obasèékú, Àdúróbo, Àbèrèbo Hill and lot more_ but *Akolu Rock* is the most powerful of them all.

There are many miseries attached to this Akolu Hill from the time past. One of it is that, it is forbidden for the present King to set his eyes on the Hill because it is the people belief that the King must not see his forefathers because all past King Corpses were buried on the hill, else it will lead to his death.

Also, any pieces of the Ram sacrificed on the hill must not be taken home by anybody because it is dedicated for the Rock but anyone who eventually does that, will lose his or her entire family.

By and Large, it is unfortunate that, this Rock is not reckon with but this can serve as an advantage for the Oyo State Government to make Yoruba Traditions ever green and to make it a tourist center like _Olumo Rock_ in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Here is why you should stop bathing with hot water

Hot shower is one of life's simple pleasures, but it's dangerous for your skin.

Here's why you should avoid taking your bath with hot water [naturalhairgrowthtips]

Here's why you should avoid taking your bath with hot water [naturalhairgrowthtips]

Nothing feels better than having a hot bath after a cold night or a stressful day, but how much heat can your skin tolerate?

As fantastic as it feels at the moment, a hot shower could be doing more harm than good when it comes to your skin's health. Some people live for those extended hot showers early in the morning or at the end of the day as part of our daily routines to get through the day. Yet, as soothing as they can be, they can also do significant damage to your skin’s natural functions over time.

Even if you don't suffer from dry skin or any condition aggravated by hot water, a hot shower still isn't doing your skin any favors. Any skin condition characterized by a defective skin barrier can be worsened by a hot shower. We'll enlighten you on the reasons you should stop taking a hot bath in today's article.

Here's why you should avoid hot showers.

1. Damages skin cells

Hot showers affect the very most outer layer of your skin [ece-auto-gen]

Hot showers affect the very most outer layer of your skin [ece-auto-gen]

The skin consists of 3 separate layers. Hot showers affect the very most outer layer of your skin, the epidermis. Taking hot showers often damages your keratin cells, which are the cells that make up this layer of the skin. These cells exist to keep the moisture inside your skin, but exposure to heat can often damage the epidermis, and worsen the condition of your skin.

2. Aggravates skin conditions

Warm water is a yes, but hot water is no. If your showers are too hot, this can often aggravate acne and cause it to spread. Dry skin is caused by an impaired skin barrier and deficiency in the necessary healthy fats in the top layer of the skin.

These fats are essential to normal skin function. That dry skin can become a more serious issue with regular and extended exposure to hot water, which further strips away the protective lipid layer responsible for keeping moisture in and bacteria and irritants out.

3. Dries the skin

Hot water strips oils from the skin faster than warm water

Hot water strips oils from the skin faster than warm water. The layer of the skin responsible for keeping the moisture inside your skin is damaged. Long, hot showers can combat the skin’s natural functions as a protective barrier and deplete natural oils from the surface while also stripping hair of its own protective oils and weaken your complexion altogether.

The heat from hot water combined with soap will soften your skin and slowly strip away its natural, oily protective barriers. Some of this can good like removing dirt, sweat, or body odor. However, we want to keep in the skin’s natural moisture where possible and prevent dry or irritated, itchy skin.

Northerners vow to take protest to Buhari’s Daura

The Coalition of Northern Group says its state chapters will trek to Daura, the country home of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari(retd), in protest against the abduction of at least 333 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.

Bandits had stormed the school on Friday night and abducted the students after a gun duel with the police. The President had arrived in the state on Friday, hours before the abduction took place.

Under the banner of the #Bringbackourboys campaign, the CNG spokesperson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said on Monday that his members would storm the President’s residence today and remain there till the 333 missing students were rescued.

He said, “Our state chapters are also embarking on a long trek to Daura in Katsina State to demand immediate action from Buhari who is currently in Daura.

“The Kano CNG will take off from Dambatta in solidarity with the Katsina chapter to link up with the Jigawa contingent at Kazaure from where they will join the Kano team at Mashi and proceed on the great trek to Daura for the long wait in front of Buhari’s country home.”

The spokesperson also said the group was pained by the renewed onslaught by bandits on northerners.

“The daring kidnap of hundreds of school children in Katsina only goes to confirm the series of warnings raised by the CNG that thousands of our fellow citizens in the north have virtually been abandoned to armed criminals and a vicious insurgency,” he stated.

Since the attack, all secondary schools in the state have been shut. Residents of Kankara also protested the abduction of the students on Sunday, asking the authorities to ensure their speedy release.
